(OTTAWA) December 9, 2016 – Starting Monday, December 12, Ottawa Community Housing Corporation (OCH) call centre will be answering emergency maintenance calls from Gloucester Housing Corporation (GHC) tenants between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. The pilot will start on December 12 and will last for 6 months.
The calls from GHC tenants will be answered by OCH call centre representatives and then dispatched to appropriate contractors.
The calls are for emergency maintenance requests, which include no heat in the home, a major flood or water leak, loss of power in the home, blocked or unstable toilet and a need for a lock change, if the keys are lost, etc.
The GHC tenants can call 613-731-1182 in order to reach the OCH call centre.
