What is a strategic plan?
A strategic plan lets Ottawa Community Housing (OCH) identify where we want to go in the coming years
and describes the things OCH needs to do to get us there.

OCH’s Current Strategic Plan
Currently, OCH’s Strategic Plan is for three years, ending in 2015.  It is based on five areas and
includes a number of goals that are outlined below.

Our new plan will be for 10 years, based on 3 to 4 key goals, and will include a three-year action plan.

Heading into the future, Ottawa Community Housing (OCH) is looking to:
1) Develop, provide and improve services that respond to tenants’ needs.
2) Involve communities in building safe and healthy places to live through greater participation of tenants,
partners and the surrounding neighbourhoods.
3) Be smart in the way we operate, invest and spend. This includes making the most of the properties we have, and finding new ways to increase revenue to invest more in tenants’ homes.

Strategic Plan

A successful strategic plan relies on input from stakeholders and we want to hear from you.
