Transfers

Header image – ‘Transfers’

If you find that your situation has changed and the Rent Geared to Income (RGI) home you are renting no longer meets your needs, you may be eligible for an internal transfer to another OCH unit.

The Housing Services Act (HSA) requires social housing providers to keep an Internal Transfer list.  More significantly, the HSA requires social housing providers to make offers of RGI units to households on the Internal Transfers list before making an offer to anyone on the Registry list.

To have your name added to the OCH Internal Transfer list, fill out the “Transfer Request Form” at your local OCH Office. Please call your OCH Tenant and Community Worker (TCW) for more information.
