Exterior, Window & Door Repairs & Replacements

As Ottawa’s largest landlord and affordable housing provider, OCH is committed to making its buildings are as energy-efficient as possible. An important component of that commitment is to work towards improving the overall state of our windows and doors, as well as fixing air and water leakages.

Each year we assess and prioritize projects within this category to fix building components such as windows, doors, and building exteriors (cladding; ex.: brick, metal, or wood). These changes can often lead to savings for tenants on their utilities.

Throughout these projects, OCH communicates with tenants to inform them of the progress of the work. This helps minimize disruption and facilitate the completion of the repairs.
