July 16, 2019 – More than 50 volunteers from three different organizations will be painting fences in the OCHC Ashgrove community
United Way Ottawa, the Canadian Institute for Health Information and the University of Ottawa will be returning to offer a helping hand that will increase pride of place for tenants.
OCHC CEO Stéphane Giguère and Board Chair and Rideau-Vanier Councillor Mathieu Fleury will attend the event, as well as River Ward Councillor Riley Brockington.

Ashgrove:
• Constructed in 1979, the community has 114 two-storey townhomes
• More than 410 residents live in the community. Children and youth represent 47% of the population.
• OCHC recently welcomed new families into the community, thanks to an expansion that added 16 homes.
