Ottawa Community Housing has changed parking management companies

In order to serve you better, there will be some changes to how we manage OCH parking lots. Starting in the month of October, you might have noticed new signs up in your parking lot.

WHAT WILL CHANGE FOR VISITORS?

OCH has changed parking management companies, and as a result, visitors will need to register to park through the new mobile application called Flowbird. It can be found through the Apple Store or Google Play. Visitors can also register by phone at 1-833-243-6901. Visitors will only need to register to park once signs are up in your community. Precise ParkLink expects to have the signs up by November.

Once visitors register their license plate number, they can park for free for up to three hours during the day. After that, it is only $1 an hour, for a maximum of $10 in a 24-hour period.

Visitors are also eligible for 3, FREE overnights in a visitor parking space each month. But, visitors CANNOT use the Flowbird mobile app to register for the FREE overnight parking. This registration can ONLY be done by:

  • phone at 1-833-243-6902 or
  • online at: https://validationipass.preciserd.com/CommunityHousing/OCH

WHAT WILL CHANGE FOR TENANTS CURRENTLY REGISTERED FOR PARKING?

If you are currently registered for a monthly parking spot, there will be no change to fees. OCH will be providing Precise ParkLink with your vehicle information. If your vehicle or license plate has changed, you must visit your local OCH office to update your information.

If you do not provide OCH with the right license plate, you run the risk of receiving a parking ticket, when Precise ParkLink begins monitoring tenant lots in January

REGISTER FOR TENANT MONTHLY PARKING

Some OCH communities have available monthly parking spots. If you have a vehicle and there are available spots in your communities, you must register your vehicle. If there are no available spots in your community, you may register for a waiting list.

Any vehicle parked in a tenant space without a license plate registered with OCH may receive a ticket when Precise ParkLink begins monitoring tenant spaces. For more information, visit och-lco.ca/your-home and click on the “Monthly Tenant Parking” tab.

For more information on the OCH Parking monitoring program, visit www.och-lco.ca/parking email parking@och.ca or call 613-731-1182, Option 6, ext. 2233.

Until this sign is in place, visitors do not have to register for parking.
