On June 10, Luis and the Tenants Circle at 312 Cumberland received a group award from the Lowertown Community Resource Centre in recognition of their collaboration with the greater community to deliver important programs such as an on-site food program and art classes.

Art Class

The art class, designed specifically for residents of 312 Cumberland, is led by Linda, a tenant from 140 Den Haag.

Linda collaborates with Luis from 312 Cumberland to plan programming, purchase supplies, and coordinate sessions. Together, they’ve created a safe, welcoming space that supports mental well-being and self-care through creative expression.

Food Pantry

The food pantry program is another standout initiative, reflecting the strong collaboration between 312 Cumberland and 1455 Clementine.

Community Dinners

The community dinners at 312 Cumberland are heartwarming gatherings that bring neighbours together to share a meal, celebrate milestones, and strengthen community ties. Deborah, the talented chef behind these events, handles the planning, shopping, and cooking, serving delicious meals everyone looks forward to.
