OCH would like to notify tenants that Canada Post may be experiencing a labour disruption as of May 22, 2025. If confirmed, mail and parcels will not be delivered, and no new items will be accepted. You can find more information on Canada Post’s website under Announcement, Latest news, updates and alerts.

In the meantime, we ask all tenants not to send their rent cheques and money orders in the mail until further notice. Other payment options are available. Please see other available options here

Community Capital Fund

Have a project in mind for your community? You can have it funded through the Community Capital Fund.

The Community Capital Fund has evolved!

Since its launch in 2009, the CCF has helped tenants get more involved in their neighborhoods by funding community improvements, skills training, and improving shared spaces.

Starting in 2025, we have made changes to make the CCF easier for tenants. The program will now focus on three areas:

  • Repairing and upgrading common areas, such as lounge kitchens and common outdoor areas.
  • Operational purchases. Items communities need in common spaces to help run community development activities. Some examples would be chairs, tables, a freezer and pots and pans.
  • Activities or workshops that help build tenant skills and address community needs.  For example, community murals, food handling, First Aid, and conflict resolution, to name a few.

Your Community Developer can give you more information. If you don’t know who your Community Developer is, just call OCH at 613-731-1182 and follow the prompt.
