Ottawa Community Housing is modernizing its look!
Why the Change?
OCH celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2022 and it gave us an opportunity to reflect on how far we have come. We are proud to be more than just a landlord. We are partners with tenants, and we take pride in our leading role in providing safe and affordable housing to over 15,000 residents in Ottawa.
The work we do focuses on:
- preserving and maintaining community housing (continuing to make homes more comfortable and safer for tenants);
- building affordable housing (for people who struggle to afford market rent) and;
- working with community partners to offer support to tenants (helping foster stronger, more inclusive communities).
The New Logo
After 20 years, it was time for a change, so our image reflects the spirit and vibrancy of OCH today, and tomorrow.
The new logo represents our continued commitment to building more sustainable and inclusive communities and celebrates our history while catapulting OCH into an exciting new chapter!
Gradual and Intentional Transition
Over the coming weeks and months, our new logo will start to appear across OCH communities. At first, you can expect to see the new logo and the old one co-exist. By phasing in the new logo as new materials need to be replaced, we are reducing cost and waste.
If you see something with the new logo, take a picture and send it to editor@och.ca. We love to get photos published in The Quarterly.
