Thanks to the hard work of OCH staff, 29 community lounges have been outfitted with tables and chairs. The $43,000 investment was made possible through the Community Capital Fund. There were so many chairs and tables that they filled a shipping container.  It truly was a group effort!

  • The Community Development team identified the need
  • OCH Business Services helped get the most furniture possible with our budget and
  • The Volunteer Engagement Program and Landscape Maintenance teams coordinated the deliveries.

“Providing these shared spaces with practical and functional furniture goes beyond infrastructure improvements — it’s about fostering connections. These lounges serve as gathering spots where tenants can engage in meaningful conversations, build stronger relationships, and collaborate on ways to enhance their communities,” said Steve Clay, OCH’s Senior Manager of Community Development.
