Aug. 14, OTTAWA, ON –  Confederation Court Community House is getting a major boost for Ottawa Community Housing residents thanks to a $5,000 donation from Tiree. The new IKEA kitchen, revitalized gardens, and refreshed basketball court will expand program space and support the community’s growing food security and skill-building initiatives.

“It’s about creating warm, inviting spaces where neighbours can gather, share meals, build connections, and learn new skills,” said Kristina Wolf, Program Manager, Confederation Court Community House. “Community is fundamentally about forging friendships and connections.”

This upgrade marks a significant milestone in a multi-phase improvement project for the building, which has been serving the community of 651 residents since opening in 1991.

Tiree, a Canadian professional services firm specializing in project management, advisory, and security & smart technologies, is partnering with Ottawa Community Housing for the third time as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.
