OCHC Board and Committee Members Go Green and participate in their first Tree Planting Project in Debra Dynes Community
June 22, 2023, Ottawa, ON – The community of Debra Dynes will get a little greener thanks to the work of approximately 40 volunteers from Ottawa Community Housing Corporation’s Board and Committees.
The tree-planting event is part of OCHC’s commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and building greener, more sustainable communities. On June 22, this volunteer group will plant 20 trees – replacing some of the forest cover lost during the Derecho storm.
Board and Committee members volunteering will be joined by Ottawa Community Housing Corporation’s Chief Operating Officer, Guy Arseneau and Bay Ward Councillor and Board Chair Theresa Kavanagh.
When: Thursday, June 22, 2023, 12:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where: 995 Debra Avenue, Unit 85
