On January 19, our Board of Directors passed OCH’s 2023 budget. Investments in maintenance, pest management, and Community Safety Services will make community improvements that will impact you.

How does the budget impact OCH tenants?

OCH is investing money in improving the communities we serve. Some of the investments in this year’s budget include:

  • $28.3 million in building and maintenance repairs
  • $2.8 million in fire safety upgrades
  • $3.3 million to modernize elevators
  • $2.4 million for green retrofits that lower OCH’s carbon footprint – creating more sustainable communities that cost less to heat and cool.

We’re also growing our communities!

The 2023 budget allows OCH to continue to develop more affordable housing in Ottawa. This year, we’ll continue to design or construct over 930 new, affordable homes across the city.

We know that you may be experiencing challenges related to economic uncertainty. Rest assured that you can continue to count on OCH to provide you with critical services.
