A multi-year, phased initiative designed to modernize and strengthen building infrastructure across OCH properties.

By implementing advanced technology in high-needs buildings and offices, Project Guardian enhances access control, security, and surveillance systems—ensuring our communities are safer and more resilient today and into the future. 

Project Scope

Spanning three phases and 40 buildings, the Project Gardian represents an investment of over $11 million, impacting approximately 13,000 tenants.

New Security Camera Systems

1,920 cameras have been installed to improve monitoring and enhance safety.

Improved Intercom Access

Intercom systems have been relocated to building exteriors, reducing unauthorized access and improving security in vestibules.

Upgraded Entry Technology

Outdated key fob systems have been replaced with streamlined, modern access control at 775 doors.

Infrastructure Modernization

Over 80,000 feet (24 km) of conduit and 485,000 feet (147 km) of cabling were installed to support these upgrades.
