Project

The project involves the construction of 16 new homes, including 2 four-bedroom modified-accessible stacked townhouses. It includes a mix of one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes. This new development is built on the foundations of an existing fire-damaged structure that once housed 14 homes. This redesign adds 2 homes, totalling 10 additional bedrooms, and a split-level concept with south/north frontage that maximizes sunlight and cross-ventilation for increased tenant comfort. Two of the 3-bedroom townhouse layouts can be easily modified to increase the bedroom count by one (to a 4-bedroom) to accommodate the needs of a larger family. The homes are built to be highly energy-efficient, using LED lighting and polished-concrete radiant floor heating.
