Rules for your backyard

Some OCH homes include more than just the interior rental space. They may include front and/or back yards, walkways, lanes, driveways/carports, porches, balconies, and lockers.

All of these common areas are included in what you are renting.

• The backyard must be clean, tidy and free from household appliances, rubbish, debris, clutter, damaged furniture and car parts.
• You need to mow the lawn, remove weeds and overgrowth, and look after the gardens and vegetable patches.
• You must remove any alterations or installations made in your backyard at the end of your tenancy.
