Tenant Spotlight: Tenant Volunteers at the Heart of OCH Communities 

“When tenants help each other, everyone benefits, and the community gets stronger.” 

Barb from Russell Manor has been volunteering for 10 years. 

She was one of the 130 tenants at the Volunteer Appreciation Event on April 25. Each year, OCH hosts a lunch to thank tenant volunteers. After the meal, residents enjoyed art and games workshops.  

Tenant volunteers lead: 

• Classes,  

• Food Pantries,  

• Holiday celebrations  

And so much more.   

Because of volunteers like Barb, neighbours feel supported, and communities feel stronger.
