Monday, February 28, 2022 (OTTAWA, ON) – On behalf of Ottawa Community Housing Corporation (OCHC), Stéphane Giguère, Chief Executive Officer, has issued the following statement after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine:

“Over the past few days, tenants in Ottawa Community Housing communities, together with others around the world, have watched in shock as Russia invaded Ukraine with unprovoked attacks on cities and the citizens of Ukraine.

OCHC stands in solidarity with Ukrainians around the world, including those in OCHC communities. OCHC is home to thousands of individuals and families who have fled war zones. We recognize that some may be affected by the conflict, and we stand with you.

Our thoughts are with the people of Ukraine, Ukrainian-Canadians, and Ukrainians who call OCHC home.”
