(Ottawa, October 29, 2021) OCHC was one of Canada’s first social and affordable housing providers to implement a Mandatory Vaccination Standard for its employees, volunteers, contractors, and partners servicing the 32,000 tenants and 15,000 homes.

As of October 29, 2021, we are pleased to report that 99% of OCHC employees are vaccinated and have submitted proof of vaccination.

OCHC strongly believes that it should take all measures necessary to provide the safest environment possible for its employees, contractors, partners and tenants. OCHC implemented its COVID-19 Vaccination Standard on evidence-based guidance from federal, provincial and municipal public health authorities and ongoing public health concern for the spread of COVID-19 and its variants.
