OCH would like to notify tenants that Canada Post may be experiencing a labour disruption as of May 22, 2025. If confirmed, mail and parcels will not be delivered, and no new items will be accepted. You can find more information on Canada Post’s website under Announcement, Latest news, updates and alerts.

In the meantime, we ask all tenants not to send their rent cheques and money orders in the mail until further notice. Other payment options are available. Please see other available options here

The Volunteer engagement program at OCH has established a new partnership with Revenue Canada (CVITP program) to host tax clinics. The objective of this pilot project is to assist tenants with a high risk of losing their subsidy because their taxes weren’t filed and OCH wasn’t provided with their Notice of Assessment (NOA).

We started these clinics in May, once tax season was complete and most of the volunteer tax clinics have closed. Our objective is to reduce any barrier that would prevent you from filing your taxes. Our community partners will be able to provide you with support and help find a location to complete your tax return at no cost to them.

The dates are as follows (9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.):

  • July 19: 731 Chapel Cres.
  • July 26: 1365 Bank St.
  • September 20: 731 Chapel Cres.
  • September 27: 1365 Bank St.

Please reach out by email to Shermarke Ahmed (Shermarke_Ahmed@och.ca) with your name(s), address and a brief message and we will follow up with you to schedule the appointment.
