Ottawa Community Housing Launches their Fire Prevention Week

OTTAWA, September 18, 2015 – On Monday, September 21, 2015, Ottawa Community Housing (OCH) will kick off its annual Fire Prevention week with tenants, special guests, fire safety activities sponsored by Ottawa Fire Services and a BBQ. The launch event will be held in the Sandy Hill community of Strathcona Heights, home to approximately 1,350 residents. Each year, before the official Fire Prevention Week and in partnership with Ottawa Fire Services, OCH launches its own Fire Prevention awareness campaign. OCH’s Fire Prevention Week features fire safety information displays and a video presentation in all our OCH offices. Media are welcome to attend this event.
