Project

3380 Jockvale Road is a City-owned site in Barrhaven transferred to Ottawa Community Housing Corporation (OCH).

The Jockvale Community

The site is located at 3380 Jockvale Road located at the southern edge of the Barrhaven community at the intersection of Jockvale Road and Bending Way. The site is located in the new part of the City of Ottawa that is currently being developed. There are new single–family townhouses already built on the other side of Bending Way. 3380 Jockvale

Construction is expected to begin summer of 2022All units are comprised of three 3.66 metre (12 ft) wide modules. Their areas will vary from 67 m2 for 2–bedroom units to 84.7 m2 for 3–bedroom units. 

The project is being undertaken as the first phase of planned development for the Jockvale property with a second phase anticipated in the future. 

Sustainability   

The construction design will target the highest levels of sustainability and efficiency, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and operating costs for both the tenants and landlord.
