Media Advisory: Community Partners Launch ‘Public Food Pantry’ to Address Food Insecurity

October 5, 2022, Ottawa, ON – Media are invited to attend the “Public Foods” launch of a community fridge and pantry on October 6. Ottawa Community Housing will be joined by Glebe St. James United Church representatives, Centretown Community Health Centre, Carleton University’s School of Architecture and Arlington 5 Café.  

Representatives will say a few words about their involvement in the project, and we will hear from residents about its impact on the community.   

The launch will take place at 415 MacLaren St. From 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. on October 6 near the public foods structure.
