“These spaces feel brighter and more welcoming,” says Linda, a tenant at 380 Murray. “It’s nice to come home and see these improvements. It shows that people care about our building and want it to feel like a good place to live.”
Linda is describing how she feels about improvements to the lobby and shared spaces that were unveiled on December 11.
Shared spaces are an important part of everyday life at 380 Murray. From walking through the lobby to doing laundry or spending time in the lounge.
Folding counters and other improvements in the laundry room make the space brighter and easier to use. Other improvements are listed below:
- New wall tiles in the main lobby, elevator areas, and lobby walls on every floor
- New durable flooring in corridors and the laundry room
- Fresh paint in corridors, stairwells, the tenant lounge, and laundry room
- Improved lighting and clear, accessible signage throughout the building
- Corner guards to help protect walls from everyday wear
- Upgraded mailboxes for easier access and organization
Built in 1973, the 11-storey building has been refreshed to better support daily routines for tenants of all ages. Tenants were consulted along the way and helped shape the updates that mattered most to the community.
